Details Of  Primary,Upper Primary and High Schools in All Managements&Educational Colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

As per DISE 2014, in ANDHRA PRADESH state there are 61128 schools in allmanagements.
 This includes 40,329 Primary Schools, 9811 Upper Primary Schools and 10982
High Schools are functioning under all managements. The details are as follows.

        Each District there are a minimum of 3,350 schools with 14,750 teachers and maximum of 6,323 schools with 31,612 teachers per district.  On  an  average  there  are  4700  schools  and  22,300  teachers  working.  In addition, to the above schools and teachers, there are 13 Govt. DIETs and 536 private D.Ed. Colleges, 3 IASEs and around 1000 Private B.Ed. Colleges are functioning.
District Educational Officer’s Roles:
1. The District Educational Officers are the appointing authority for the posts of SGTs & School Assistants and equivalent categories. 
2. Besides they are monitoring various programmes / schemes i.e. Mid Day Meals, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Rastriya Madhyamika Shiksha Abhiyan, A.P. Model Schools, AP Open Schools, Information, communication Technology (ICT), conduct of various examinations etc.,
Regional Joint Director’s Roles: 
1. The Regional Joint Director  of  School Education  is  inspecting the  offices  of District Educational Offices in their respective Zones. 
2. They supervise the work being done  by  District  Educational  Officers,  Regional  Inspectors  of  Physical  Education, Deputy Educational Officers, Deputy Inspector of Schools / Mandal Educational Officers particularly their visits and inspections to schools.
3. Service matters of Headmasters of High Schools and Mandal Educational Officers and Lecturers of DIETs, granting permission to recognition to High schools, implementation of major programmes / projects like Rastriya Madhyamika Shiksha Abhiyan, Mid Day Meal, UDISE – Aadhaar seeding, conducting of Inspire Science Exhibitions and Kala Utsav’s etc. are involving lot of manpower, industry and taking lot of time.
