Sub: School Education – Imparting Training & Support to the Teachers to improve their English Language & Communication skills – Strengthening ELTCs- Guidelines for Selection and filling the ELCTs staff vacancies – Reg. Reference: Govt. Memo No.7823/Prog.II/A2/2015 SE (Prog.I)Dept., dt.29-6-2016.
The attention attention the under mentioned District Educational Officers are invited to the reference read above, and they are instructed to fill up the existing ELTC vacancies as per the Memo No.7823/Prog.II/A2/2015, dt.29.6.2016 for functioning of English language training centres (ELCTs). The DEOs of Warangal, Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy Districts should initiated ELCTs at their DIETs for strengthening English Language teaching by engaging retired English faculty.
1. Retired English faculty may be engaged through a press notification.
2. Must have sound health.
3. Must have B.Ed along with M.A. English and preference will be given to those who process B+ certificate from RIE Bangalore or PGCTE from IFLU Hyderabad.
4. Honorarium may be 10,000/- to 25,000/- based on their efficiency as an English Teacher/ELTC faculty.
5. They must take at least 15 classes for pre-service students (D.EI.Ed) and 10 monitory sessions in their catchment area every month.
Further the DEOs, Adilabad, Nalgonda and Medak are instructed to fill the vacancies of ELCTs at their DIETs may also be adopted the same guidelines for engagement of ELTCs staff as mentioned above.
