NEET 2018NEET 2018 Application Form has been released now. It is the national level examination for admission to MBBS & BDS courses. CBSE is the conducting authority which organizes the NEET examination every year in various cities across the country. What is  NEET 2018?
As per the Orders of Hon. Supreme Court, no other exam except NEET will be held for offering admission into MBBS/BDS courses in India from the year 2018 (except AIIMS & JIPMER). All seats (MBBS/BDS) of any medical/dental college will be filled by the score of NEET examination only.  NEET 2018 can be written in 10 regional languages including English, Tamil, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia, Kannada and Telugu.

NEET 2018 New Changes Introduced
  1. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have joined 15% All India Quota scheme. Candidates of these states need not to submit Self Declaration form now. Candidates from J&K state only, have to submit self declaration form for seats under 15% All India Quota.
  2. Indian students who wish to pursue MBBS/BDS from a foreign Medical Institute, they have qualify NEET (UG) examination.
  3. The attempt limit has been removed from 2018. Now, candidates may attempt the NEET exam maximum times untill the 25 years of age (30 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
  4. NIOS or State Open School or private candidate are not eligible for NEET 2018 exam.
  5. There will be one set for question paper in all languages.
  6. As per officials the exam will be bilingual (except language chosen in English).

Eligibility Criteria
Students should check the eligibility criteria before applying for NEET exam. The eligibility criteria for appearing NEET exam is given below:

Nationality:
  1. Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian citizen. OCIs/NRIs/PIOs/FNs candidates are also eligible to apply.
  2. J&K: Such candidates are eligible for All India 15% quota only (also eligible for admission in AFMC, Pune) on the basis of self-declaration.
  3. Aadhaar Card Requirement: Indian National candidates must have an Aadhaar Number to apply for NEET exam (except J&K, Assam and Meghalaya).
Age Limit:
Candidates must born on or between 07.05.1993 and 01.01.2002 for General category.
Candidates must born on or between 07.05.1988 and 01.01.2002 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD category.

Qualification:
Examination: Candidates should have qualified 12th or equivalent exam.
Subjects: Subjects Should be Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.
10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply.
Marks Required: In the qualifying exam (PCB group), students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for general-PH and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC.

 Syllabus for NEET 2018 :
 According to the board who is the official organizer of the national level medical exam, the syllabus of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 will be exactly same as it was for NEET, 2017.

NEET Exam on 6th May 2018: 
NEET 2018 exam is expected to be held on May 06 and the syllabus has been uploaded to the official website of CBSE NEET, cbseneet.nic.in. Last week, according to the report; students, parents and teachers have written to the central government against its decision to rearrange the syllabus for the NEET.

  1. Application form release 8th February 2018 (Released)
  2. Last date for filling the application 9th March 2018 (11:50 PM)
  3. Last date to submit the application fee 10th March 2018 (11:50 PM)
  4. Correction Window Open 12th to 16th March 2018
  5. Release of admit card 2nd week of April 2018
  6. Exam date 6th May 2018 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
  7. Result announcement 5th June 2018
  8. 1st Round Counselling starts 12th June to 24th June 2018
