Teachers Recruitment Test was entrusted to School Education Department (Departmental Selection Committee) vide G.O.MS. No.96,  FINANCE (HRM.VII) DEPARTMENT, Dt:25-08-2024. TS DSE has prepared the notifications in accordance with the Teacher Recruitment Rules-2024 issued by the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No.25, School Education (General) Department, Dt. 05-09-2024

 

TSPSC TRT 2024 Notification, District wise, Category wise, Post Wise, Medium wise Teacher Posts Vacancies 2024

The following is the post wise breakup of the vacancies: (Information about 33 Districts  ) Vacancies Telangana TRT/DSC 2024.  TS DSE is conducting the Teachers Recruitment Test for 33 Districts. If a candidate is eligible for more than one notification, he should apply separately for each notification.  It should be noted by the candidates who apply for School Assistants, Language Pandits and Second, Grade Teachers that 80% weightage will be given for written test and 20% weightage for Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). Further for the posts of PET and School Assistants (Physical Education), the selection will be based only on the merit in the written exam and no weightage will be given to the TET. PROCESS FOR CONDUCT OF DSC-2024 :

  The Commissioner, School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad shall issue detailed instructions to ensure proper conduct of DSC-2024.

COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)
In order to bring in utmost transparency and accuracy in the conduct of examinations, it is decided to conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) for recruitment to the posts of School Assistants, Secondary Grade Teachers, Language Pandits, Physical Education Teacher and Special Education Teachers in Primary Level in the category of Secondary Grade Teacher and Special Education Teachers in Upper Primary/Secondary Level in the category of School Assistant in Government and Local Body Schools in the State.

The Computer Based Test shall be conducted through online at centres in the following districts: (1) Mahaboobnagar, (2) Ranga Reddy (3) Hyderabad (4) Medak (5) Nizamabad (6) Adilabad (7) Karimnagar (8) Warangal (9) Khammam (10) Nalgonda (11) Sanga Reddy. Candidates can submit their order of preference of test centers in their application. However, assigning of candidates to centers depends on the capacity and availability of centers on that particular date.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by article 309 of the Constitution of India read with sub sections (3) and (4) of section 164, sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 191 and section 261 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act No.5 of 2018) and sections 78 and 99 of the Telangana Education Act, 1982 (Act No. 1 of 1982) read with sub-section (1) of section 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (Central Act No.35 of 2009) and the National Council for Teacher Education (Determination of Minimum Qualifications for Persons to be Recruited as Education Teachers and Physical Education Teachers in Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary. Senior Secondary or Intermediate Schools or Colleges) Regulations, 2014, dt. 12.11.2014 as amended from time to time and in supersession of the orders issued in G.O 1, 2 and 3 read above, the Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following Rules for direct recruitment to the posts of Teachers in the Government and Local Body Schools of Telangana.

 

RULES

SHORT TITLE AND APPLICATION:

(1) These rules may be called the Telangana State Direct Recruitment for the posts of Teachers (Scheme of Selection) Rules, 2024.

(2) These rules shall apply to all categories of teacher posts in Government Schools, Zilla Praja Parishad Schools and Mandal Praja Parishad Schools and to such other categories of teacher posts in such other schools as may be notified by the Government from time to time.

(3) These rules shall come into force from the date of publication of Notification in the Telangana State Gazette.

DEFINITIONS:

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:-

(1) “Appointing Authority” means: the District Educational Officer of the district concerned in respect of posts of teachers in Government Schools, Mandal Praja Parishads Schools and Zilla Praja Parishad schools.

2) “Chief Executive Officer” means the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Praja Parishad appointed under section 182 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act. 2018 | Act No.5 of 2018].

(3) “Collector” means an officer in-charge of a Revenue District:

4) “Director of School Education” means the Officer in-charge of General Education in the State which includes Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary Schools and Teacher Education in the State;

(5) “District” means a Revenue District;

(6) “District Educational officer” means the Officer in-charge of General Education 8xnewscos Pre-primary, Primary, Upper Primary. Secondary Schools and Teacher Education in the District;

(7) “Government” means the Government of Telangana;

(8) “Malpractice” means in relation to an examinee appearing for the recruitment test, the unauthorized help from any person in any manner or from any material or from any source whatsoever or the unauthorized use of any telephonic, wireless or electronic or other instrument of gadget in any manner, as described in the Telangana Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and unfair means). Act, 1997 (Act 25 of 1997);

(9) “Mandal Praja Parishad” means a Mandal Praja Parishad constituted under section 142 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act No. 5 of 2018);

(10) Mandal Praja Parishad Development Officer” means the officer appointed by that designation under section 163 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 (Act No. 5 of 2018);

(11) “Medium of Instruction” means the language through which subjects other than languages are taught:

(12) “NCTE” means National Council for Teacher Education constituted under the National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993 (Central Act No. 73 of 1993);

(13) School” means a Primary School or an Upper Primary School or a High School;

(14) “Teacher Eligibility Test” means the Eligibility Test conducted by the appropriate Government as per the NCTE guidelines Dt.11.02.2011 for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) issued under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (Central Act No. 35 of 2009) read with NCTE Notification, Dt.23.08.2010 and subsequent amendments from time to time laying down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher;

(15) UGC means University Grants Commission constituted under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956″ (Central Act No.3 of 1956):

(16) Zilla Praja Parishad” means a Zilla Praja Parishad constituted under section 172 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 2018 [Act No. 5 of 2018].

METHOD OF RECRUITMENT:

The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Written Test and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time. The total marks shall be 100 (One hundred). Out of which 80% shall be for the Written Test (Teacher Recruitment Test) and remaining 20% for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) score for all the posts except for School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher for which the total 100 marks shall be for the written. test only.

For the purpose of Selection of Teachers under these Rules. scores obtained in Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with the qualifying marks as given below shall only be considered:

 

Note: The APTET scores obtained before the appointed day of 02.06.2014 shall only be considered.

TS DSC/TRT 2024 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall fully possess the academic and professional/training qualifications as mentioned in Rule 4 (ii) below.

Provided that the candidates who are pursuing final year or final semester (as the case may be) of the required qualification are also eligible to apply for the posts concerned duly submitting the details of such examination in the online application and get qualified in the said examination as on date of verification of certificates to be notified by the Director for School Education

QUALIFICATIONS – POST WISE: 

School Assistants:-

A. School Assistant (Mathematics):-

(i) Must possess a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) from a University recognized by UGC with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (In case of SC / ST / BC Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ Special Education in B.Ed. course with Mathematics as a Methodology subject from any institution recognized by NCTE

                                                               OR

(ii) Must possess a 4-year B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Mathematics as a Methodology from any institution recognized by NCTE

                                                              AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science as Optional.

B. School Assistants (Physical Science):-

(i) Must possess a Graduate Degree with any two of the following subjects as optional i.e. Physics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) and Chemistry (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) from a University recognized by UGC with 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Physical Science/Physics/ Chemistry/Science as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE. (Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are also eligible for the post) 

                                                          OR 

(ii) Must possess a 4-year B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Physical Science / Physics Chemistry Science as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE. 

                                                         AND 

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS TET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science as Optional.

C. School Assistant (Biological Science):

(i) Must possess a Graduate Degree with any two of the following subjects as optionals i.e. Botany (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) arid Zoology (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.)) from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Biological Science / Natural Sciences/ Science / Botany / Zoology as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE. (Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are also eligible for the post) 

                                                          OR

(ii) Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Biological Science / Natural Sciences / Science Botany Zoology as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NOTE.

                                                             AND

(iii) Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science as Optional.

D. School Assistant (Social Studies):-

(i) Must possess a Graduate Degree with any two of the following subjects as optionals i.e. History (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.)/ Economics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Geography (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.)/ Political Science or Politics (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) / Public Administration (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.)/Sociology (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.)/Psychology (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.)/ Philosophy/ Commerce (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) as optionals from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation with relevant subjects (In case of SC / ST / BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ Special Education in B.Ed. course with Social Studies / Social Sciences / Geography / History / Politics Political Science / Economics as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE. (Candidates who study one of the two optionals at Graduation and the other at Post Graduation with the required percentage are also eligible for the post)

                                                               OR

(ii) Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/ BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with the Social Studies/Social Sciences/ Geography/ History/ Politics/ Political Science Economics as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                           AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Social Studies as Optional. E. School Assistant (English) :-

(i) Must possess Graduation with English as one of the Optionals / Graduation in English Literature/Post Graduation Degree in English from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC /ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Special Education in B.Ed. course with English as a Methodology subject from any institution recognised by NCTE

                                                          OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with English as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE 

                                                            AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

F. School Assistant (Telugu):-

(1) Must possess Graduation with Telugu as one of the Optionals / Graduation in Telugu Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu / Post Graduation Degree in Telugu from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/ BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Telugu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Telugu from any institution recognised by NCTE

                                                    OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed: / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Telugu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE. 

                                                                       AND 

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

G. School Assistant (Hindi) :-

(i) Must possess Graduation with Hindi as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Hindi Literature/Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Hindi / Post Graduation Degree in Hindi from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/Special Education in B.Ed. course with Hindi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Hindi or Hindi Shikshan Parangat from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                                  OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Hindi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE. AND Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

H. School Assistant (Urdu):

(i) Must possess Graduation with Urdu as one of the Optionals / Graduation in Urdu Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Urdu / Post Graduation Degree in Urdu from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Urdu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Urdu from any institution recognised by NCTE

                                                                  OR 

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Urdu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                          AND 

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

I. School Assistant (Kannada):- 

(i) Must possess Graduation with Kannada as one of the Optional / Graduation in Kannada Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Kannada / Post Graduation Degree in Kannada from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ Special Education in B.Ed. course with Kannada as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Kannada from any institution recognised by NCTE 

                                                           OR 

Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/ BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Kannada as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                     AND

 Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i). Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

J. School Assistant (Tamil) :-

Must possess Graduation with Tamil as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Tamil Literature/ Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Tamil / Post Graduation Degree in Tamil from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Tamil as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Tamil from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                             OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Tamil as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                           AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional. 

K. School Assistant (Marathi)

Must possess Graduation with Marathi as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Marathi Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Marathi / Post Graduation Degree in Marathi from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum. marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Marathi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Trainingin Marathi from any institution recognised by NCTE. 

                                            OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/ BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Marathi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE..

                                                         AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional. . 

L. School Assistant (Sanskrit) :-

i) Must possess Graduation with Sanskrit as one of the Optionals / Graduation in Sanskrit Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Sanskrit / Post Graduation Degree in Sanskrit from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed. course with Sanskrit as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Sanskrit from any institution recognised by NCTE 

                                                OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Sanskrit as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (1) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional

M. School Assistant (Physical Education) :-

(i) Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC, the minimum marks shall be 45%)

                                          OR

Must possess Graduation in Physical Education with 40% marks (In case of SC / ST / BC, the minimum marks shall be 35%) or Graduation in Physical Education i.e.. B.P.Ed. course of three years duration.

                                            OR

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50%

                                              AND

Must possess a marks Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at lest one year duration from any institutions recognised by NCTE.

Secondary Grade Teacher:-

(i) Must Possess Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognised by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 50% Marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Special Education in D.Ed / 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

                                        OR

(ii) Must Possess Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognised by the Board of Intermediate. Telangana with at least 45% Marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (i.e those who are admitted into. D.El.Ed. up to the year 2007) and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education in D.Ed. / 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

                                 AND

Pass in Paper-I of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test. (CTET).

Language Pandits 

A. Language Pandit (Telugu) :-

(i) Must possess Graduation with Telugu as one of the Optionals / Graduation in Telugu Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu / Post Graduation Degree in Telugu from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ Special Education in B.Ed course with Telugu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Telugu from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                 OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Telugu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE

                                               AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

B. Language Pandit (Hindi) :-

(i) Must possess Graduation with Hindi as one of the Optionals / Graduation in Hindi Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Hindi/ Post Graduation Degree in Hindi. from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) /Special Education in B.Ed course with Hindi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Hindi or Hindi Shikshan Parangat from any institution recognised by NCTE

                                               OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Hindi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                  AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

C. Language Pandit (Urdu):

(i) Must possess Graduation with Urdu as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Urdu Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Urdu / Post Graduation Degree in Urdu from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed course with Urdu as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Urdu from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                     OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Urdu as a Methodology from any institution recognised by  NCTE.

                                                 AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

D. Language Pandit (Kannada)

(i) Must possess Graduation with Kannada as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Kannada Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Kannada / Post Graduation Degree in Kannada from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed course with Kannada as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Kannada from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                            OR

ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Kannada as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                             AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

E. Language Pandit (Marathi)

(i) Must possess Graduation with Marathi as one of the Optionals / Graduation in Marathi Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Marathi / Post Graduation Degree in Marathi from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (in case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed course with Marathi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Marathi from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                               OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Marathi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

F. Language Pandit (Tamil) :-

(i) Must possess Graduation with Tamil as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Tamil Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Tamil / Post Graduation Degree in Tamil. from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) 7 Special Education in B.Ed course with Tamil as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Tamil from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                               OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Tamil as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET)/Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (1) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Kannada as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                         AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

E. Language Pandit (Marathi)

(i) Must possess Graduation with Marathi as one of the Optionals / Graduation in Marathi Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Marathi / Post Graduation Degree in Marathi from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (in case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed course with Marathi as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Marathi from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                               OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Marathi as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                                AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

Language Pandit (Tamil) :-

(i) Must possess Graduation with Tamil as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Tamil Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Tamil / Post Graduation Degree in Tamil. from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) 7 Special Education in B.Ed course with Tamil as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Tamil from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                             OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC/ Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Tamil as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                  AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET)/Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (1) Mathematics and Science or (ii) Social Studies as Optional.

G. Language Pandit (Sanskrit):-

(i) Must possess Graduation with Sanskrit as one of the Optionals/ Graduation in Sanskrit Literature /Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Sanskrit / Post Graduation Degree in Sanskrit from a University recognised by UGC with at least 50% (In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ Special Education in B.Ed course with Sanskrit as a Methodology subject or Language Pandit Training in Sanskrit from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                           OR

(ii) Must possess 4-year B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks (In case of SC/ST/BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%) with Sanskrit as a Methodology from any institution recognised by NCTE.

                                         AND

Pass in Paper-II of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET) / Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with (i) Mathematics and Science or (1) Social Studies as Optional.

Physical Education Teacher

1. Must possess Intermediate (or its equivalent) recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana with minimum 50% marks.

                                        And 

A Certificate / Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education / Diploma in Physical Education from an institution recognised by the NCTE.

                                         OR

2. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.

                                        OR

And Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at least one year duration from any institution recognised by NCTE. 

Language / Medium of Study Qualifications: 

The candidates who have (i) passed either SSC (or its equivalent) Examination or Intermediate (or its equivalent) or Degree Examination in the medium of instruction concerned or (ii) have studied the Language concerned as First Language in SSC (or its equivalent) or as Part I in Intermediate (or its equivalent) or as Second Language in Intermediate (or its equivalent) or as a Subject in Degree, are eligible for the posts of SA (Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Studies & Physical Education), SGT and PET in the concerned medium school The written test will be in the bilingual language with concerned medium and English.

Candidates with Spl.D.Ed/B.Ed on appointment to the post pertains t general schools, they are required to undergo an NCTE recognized six months Special Programme in Elementary Education at their own cost.

Only the qualifications mentioned in the application form, for the post applied for, shall be taken into consideration for the purpose of selection VIII. Distance Education: The Applicants who have obtained requisite Degrees through Open Universities / Distance Education mode are required to have recognition by the University Grants Commission / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau as the case may be. Unless such Degrees have been recognised by the relevant Statutory Authority, they will not be accepted for purpose of Educational Qualification vide its Public Notice No. F.27-1/2012 (CPP-II). Dt. 27/06/2013. (A university established or incorporated by or under a State act shall operate only within the territorial jurisdiction allotted to it under its Act and in no case beyond the territory of the State of its location). The onus of proof of recognition by the relevant Statutory Authority that their Degrees / Universities have been recognised rests with the candidate.

Equivalent Qualification: At the time of verification of certificates, if it is noticed that any applicant possessing other than prescribed qualification and claims it as equivalent to the prescribed qualifications, then an Expert Committee will be constituted by the Director of School Education, Telangana and the Director of School Education, Telangana will take a final decision based on the report of the Expert Committee.

SELECTION COMMITTEE:

There shall be a District Selection committee for each district, consisting of following:

(1) District Collector  – Chairman

(2) Addl. Collector (Local Bodies)  – Vice Chairman

(3) District Educational Officer   – Member Secretary

(4) Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Praja Parishad – Member 

SCHEDULE FOR RECRUITMENT OF TEACHERS:

The Director of School Education shall issue the time schedule, notification, details of conduct of online CBRT recruitment test duly identifying online examination centers, publish the results of recruitment test and Counselling Schedule for recruitment of teachers & issuing posting orders under these rules.

NOTIFICATION OF VACANCIES:

The Director of School Education shall issue a notification in the leading News Papers in the State inviting applications for direct recruitment for the posts of Teachers in accordance with the orders issued by the Government.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS:

Candidates intending to apply for the posts notified in respect of any district shall submit application in the manner prescribed by the Director of School Education in the notification.

AGE:

As per the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 as amended from time to time.

ISSUE OF HALL TICKETS:

Hall Tickets shall be issued to the candidates in the manner prescribed by the Director of School Education,

SYLLABUS:

The details of syllabus, allocation of marks to different subjects, scheme and structure of Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) shall be notified in the Information Bulletin to be issued by the Director of School Education through the official web site designated for this purpose.

TEACHER RECRUITMENT TEST (Written Test):

(1) The Director of School Education shall issue detailed instructions to ensure proper conduct of Teacher Recruitment Test.

2) The candidates who are found copying or resorting to other means of malpractice shall be expelled from the examination hall apart from being debarred from appearing for the examinations conducted by the District Selection Committee for three consecutive examinations besides taking action as per the Telangana Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair means) Act, 1997 (Act No. 25 of 1997). 

(3) Disciplinary action shall be initiated against such staff who are found negligent in the discharge of their duties and an entry shall be made accordingly in the Service Register of the concerned staff besides taking action as per the Telangana Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair means) Act, 1997 (Act. No. 25 of 1997).

(4) The written test will be conducted through online Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT).

(5) The written test will be in the bilingual language with concerned medium and English.

(6) One Gazetted Officer from Education Department and one Gazetted Officer from other than Education Department shall be deputed as observer for conduct of Computer Based Recruitment Test for smooth functioning of Recruitment Test. 

PUBLISHING OF THE INITIAL KEY AND FILING OF OBJECTIONS:

(1) The Director of School Education shall be the competent authority to publish the initial key of the question paper within (10) days from the date of conduct of written test inviting objections, if any, from the candidates who appeared for the test. A minimum period of (03) days shall be given to the candidates for filing objections on the initial key and the same shall be disposed of by the expert committee constituted by the Director of School Education within (07) days from the date of receipt of objections The final key shall be published for the information of candidates. Any representation/petition/ objection on the initial key after the above stipulated period shall not be entertained.

(2) The Director of School Education is authorized to dispose of the examination material relating to the Teachers Recruitment Test after one year from the date of declaration of results /display of selection lists. whichever is later.

SELECTION:

(1) Candidates shall be selected on the basis of combined marks secured in the Written Test (80%) and TET (20%) in all categories of posts except SA (Physical Education) and PET for which selection shall be on the basis of written test (100%) only, duly following the provisions of Rule 15. (2) Unit of appointment for selection to the posts prescribed in this rules is concerned district and district wise posts will be notified by the Director of School Education. 

PREPARATION OF SELECTION LISTS:

(1) The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable and the provisions of Telangana Public Employment Organisation of Local Cadres & Regulation of Direct Recruitment Order, 2018 (Presidential Order) issued in G.O.Ms.No. 124 G.A. (SPF-MC) Dept., Dt.30.08.2018 and amendments there to shall be followed strictly.

(2) The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Physically Challenged, Ex-service Men and women is applicable as per the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 as amended from time to time.

(3) The rules issued from time to time by the Department for Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Govt of Telangana shall be followed in respect of special representation for differently abled (physically challenged) persons. 

(4) No Physically Challenged quota should be extended for the School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher Posts as the said quota is not considered for admission into the Physical Education Training courses. The posts earmarked for School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teacher should be filled with eligible meritorious candidates as per the Government Memo.No.1351/Ser.VI/2008-2, dated. 01.04.2008.

(5) The number of candidates selected shall not be more than the number of vacancies notified. There shall be no waiting list and posts if any unfilled for any reason whatsoever shall be carried forward for future recruitment.

(6) If a candidate applies for two posts and gets selected for both posts, an option along with declaration should be taken from the candidate for the post to which he/she opts for appointment and with the approval of District Selection committee his/her name should be deleted from the Merit list of the post that he/she has not opted for and selection list should be prepared according to the option exercised. 

(7) There shall be certificate verification of the candidates with 1:3 ratio before finalization of selection.

(8) After due verification of the originals of all relevant certificates, selection of the candidates for the posts of Government/Local Bodies shall be made together as per the roster of each unit of appointment and selected candidates shall exercise their option as per roster cum merit and the District Educational Officer, shall allot the candidates to the respective unit accordingly.

(9) For the purpose of deciding the inter-se merit / rank of candidates with equal marks, the following procedure shall be followed in that order:

 

  • Date of Birth: The elder candidate will be given higher rank over a younger candidate:
  • If the Date of Birth is also same, but the candidates belong to different genders, a female candidate will be given a higher rank over a male candidate;
  • If two or more candidates have same date of birth, and no female candidate is one among them, or more than one female candidates are available, then candidates belonging to the following communities (in that order) shall be given a higher rank:

             (1) ST (2) SC (3) BC (A) (4) BC (B) (5) BC (C) (6) BC (D) (7) BC (E) and (8) OC

  • In case of further equality or tie, the date of passing of Professional /Training qualification examination (B. Ed / D. Ed or equivalent examination, Pandit Training etc) and in case of further tie, the date of passing of Inter Examination for the post of SCT and PET, etc. and Graduation for the post of School Assistant and Language Pandit, etc. shall be taken into consideration.

(10) The District selection Committee concerned shall approve the selection lists prepared as per Rules. The same list shall be displayed on the Notice boards at O/o District Collector, O/o District Educational Officer and on the official online web site for the information of candidates.COMMUNICATION OF MERIT LISTS TO THE APPOINTING AUTHORITIES:

The merit list consisting of medium wise, subject wise shall be communicated to all District Educational Officers in the State.
Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary contained in any other rules relating to recruitment of Teachers, the provisions of these rules shall prevail and be applicable for the purpose of Teacher Recruitment Test – 2024
