JEE main 2020 Eligibility, Exam dates, Application process: Joint Entrance Examination(Main) 2020: The Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) are conducted annually to select students for admission to various technical institutions across the country. They are held in two stages JEE main which is conducted by the NTA and JEE advanced which is held by a different IIT every year. JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main 2020 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance test. Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility details, otherwise, the candidature will be rejected at any stage of the admission process. Candidates who meet the JEE Main 2020 eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance examination. Aspirants of JEE Main seeking admission to B.E/B.Tech programmes at the undergraduate level are recommended to go through the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 carefully.

Latest: JEE Mains 2020, JEE-Advance exam dates announced 
The JEE 2020 Mains exam date has been announced by the Union Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Tuesday. According to the announcement, the exam will be conducted from July 18 to July 23, 2020. The JEE-Advanced exam will be conducted in the month of August.

JEE Main 2020 application form has been re-opened by NTA on 19th May to 24th May 2020 . The exam for April session dates announced by HRD Minister to be held from July 18 to 23.

JEE Main Form Correction 2020
NTA provides a one-time opportunity for the students to correct details in JEE Main 2020 application form. The edit window facility is provided for both newly applied and already appeared candidates. It is to be noted that NTA does not accept any request for a change in details by post / fax or email. Any detail which is to be changed has to be corrected online at jeemain.nta.nic.in through JEE Main candidate login.

How to Edit Details in JEE Main 2020 Application Form? To edit detail(s) in JEE Main 2020 online form, you may follow the steps as provided below:

Step 1: Click on the direct link on this page for JEE Main correction portal.

Step 2: Next, the candidates need to log in using application number and password.

Step 3: Click on the ‘sign-in’ button to submit the login details and in the next screen, candidate dashboard appears.

Step 4: After this, candidates need to click on blue button for correction.

Step 5: Candidates must ensure that all the changes are done correction and then make the final submit.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted JEE (Main) NTA announces to conduct JEE (Main) April-2020 Examination for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. Those Candidates who have already appeared in JEE (Main) January-2020 Examination can appear in JEE (Main) April2020 Examination for improvement, if they so wish. The candidates who could not appear in the January JEE (Main) 2020 Examination, may also appear in JEE(Main) April-2020 Examination. The candidate’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/Ranking.

As per the eligibility criteria for B.Arch. and B. Planning courses and according to the opinion of Subject Experts, a few changes in the pattern of the question paper(s) and number of questions(s) for B.E./B.Tech, B. Arch and B.Planning have been approved by the JEE Apex Board (JAB) for the conduct of JEE (Main)-2020 Examination. These were also implemented in JEE(Main) January-2020 Examination.

The above examinations will be held in “Computer Based Test” (CBT) mode only except the questions for Drawing Test of B.Arch. which will be held in “Pen & Paper” offline mode. A candidate may appear in B.E./B.Tech, B. Arch and B.Planning depending upon the course(s) he/she wishes to pursue.
All the candidates aspiring to take admission to the undergraduate programs at IITs for the year 2020 will have to appear in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE(Main)-2020. Based on the performance in the B.E./B.Tech. of JEE(Main)-2020, number of top candidates as per the requirement for JEE(Advanced)-2020 will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2020, Admission to IITs will be based on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE(Advanced), subject to the conditions as would be mentioned in JEE(Advanced)-2020 Website.
Candidates who desire to appear in the test may see the detailed Information Bulletin for JEE (Main) April-2020 available on the website www.nta.ac.in.
In order to appear in JEE(Main) April-2020 Examination, the candidates are required to apply only online .
The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad. The candidates are advised to see the JEE (Advanced) website www.jeeadv.ac.in for information related to JEE (Advanced).
The NTA has released an information bulletin for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) mains 2018. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can download the information from the official website (jeemain.nic.in). The exam will be in the computer-based mode form January 06 to 20, 2020. The entire application process will take place online and candidates will be required to upload their Aadhaar numbers in order to authenticate their identities.
JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020

JEE Main 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling out the application form of JEE Main 2020, the candidates were advised to check the eligibility criteria. Candidates will be considered eligible to participate in JEE Main 2020 based on the parameters provided below.
  1. Qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 or equivalent
  2. Date of birth
  3. Marks obtained in the qualifying exam

Candidate should have passed class 12 or qualifying the exam in 2018 or 2019.
Candidate appearing in class 12 or equivalent qualifying exam in 2020 can also apply for JEE Main.
2. Age Limit
There is no age limit. However, the He/She have to pass 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2018 or 2019.
Candidates appearing for 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2020 are also eligible to apply.
3. Number of attempts
JEE Main candidates can participate in the entrance exam for 3 consecutive years. The exam will be conducted twice a year, they may appear in both the attempts. The attempt for an academic year will be considered as One.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2020
Candidates must go through below given steps to apply for JEE Main 2020:
  1. Go to the official link. (Link is provided above).
  2. Read the Instruction carefully.
  3. Click on the check box.
  4. Now proceed to ‘Apply Online’.
  5. Fill in the application form by providing details such as your name, parent’s name, Date of Birth (D.O.B), etc.
  6. Now select 4 cities of your preference for exam center.
  7. After that, provide working/ valid email ID & mobile number.
  8. Now upload scanned image of photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
  9. Proceed to link of ‘Pay Exam Fee’.
  10. Click on ‘Go for Payment”.
  11. Select the payment gateway & submit the fee.
  12. Now confirmation page will be generated.
  13. Print multiple number of print out for further use.
