TSSET-2023 Exam Dates : TS SET 2023 Notification Application Exam Date Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS Set – 2023) is a state-level examination conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad. This is for the recruitment of Lecturers/ Assistant Professor in Degree College and Universities as per rule and regulation of the University Grant Commission. changes have been made in the setting up of the UGC network. 100 marks for 50 questions in the first paper. 200 marks for 100 questions in the second paper. Telangana State Eligibility Test 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree (i.e., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MBA, MLISC, M.Ed., M.PEd., MCJ, LLM, MCA and M.Tech (CSE & IT only)) are eligible to apply. However, in case of the Backward Classes (BC)/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree is eligible for this Test.
- The candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. Such candidates must complete their Master’s Degree examination within two years from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

The candidates may pay the examination fee either by Credit Card / Debit Card/UPI/Net Banking, the additional processing charges as applicable will also be debited from the Credit Card /Debit Card/UPI/ Net Banking of the candidate.
TS SET 2023 Exam Pattern:
The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held in 3 Hours of duration in one session as under:

Paper-I:
shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, Comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper-II:
shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate. All the questions of Paper-II will be compulsory, covering entire syllabi
PROCEDURE & CRITERIA FOR DECLARATION OF TS SET 2023 RESULT
This will comprise of following steps:
Step-I: The number of candidates to be qualified (total slots) for Eligibility for Assistant Professor shall be equal to 6% of the candidates appeared in both the papers of SET.
Step-II: The total slots shall be allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy of Government of Telangana.

1) Candidates who wish to appear in TS SET 2023 must apply through online only.
