TS Polycet 2023 Web Counselling, web options, Certificates Verification Schedule, Procedure & Documents Required Details
The web based counselling will be comprised of certificate verification & option exercising. Candidates will be called for counselling on the basis of rank. Counselling will start with document verification & then candidates have to apply for choice filling option. Choice filling will be done through online mode. The document verification procedure will be organized only through offline mode.
Candidates, those who have qualified the exam have to attend certificate verification process in any of the designated Help Line Centers (HLCs). It is necessary to verify the documents for admission into polytechnics. The counselling fee is Rs. 500 for OC/BC candidates & Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates. The fee can be paid at the time of the verification process.

PAYMENT OF PROCESSING FEE, SLOT BOOKING, CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION AND OPTION EXERCISE FOR WEB BASED COUNSELLING
The eligible and qualified candidates of TSPOLYCET-2023 (Engineering State Rank Holders) who had passed SSC or its equivalent desirous of seeking admission into Diploma Courses in Polytechnics of Telangana State are informed that the payment of Processing Fee, Slot Booking for Certificate Verification, Certificate Verification and Option Exercise will commence as per the schedule given below. Candidates / Parents are advised to exercise as many number of options as possible to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat. Therefore while exercising the options every care need to be taken in selecting the college and branch as per the choice of the candidates.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:
- Candidate shall be an Indian National.
- Candidate should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
- Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to by the Board of Secondary Education, TS / AP such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/Other Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by Telangana State should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
- There is no age restriction for seeking admission into Diploma Courses in Polytechnics.
- However maximum eligible age for obtaining a Scholarship is 20 years for OC candidates and 24 years for other candidates as on the date of 01-07-2023 as per the guidelines prescribed in Memo No. 10537/SW(Edn.2)/2011, dated: 20-10-2012 and further guidelines issued from time to time by Social Welfare (Edn.) Department shall apply.
- Mere appearing for TSPOLYCET-2023 and obtaining a rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfils the requirements laid down for admissions.
PAYMENT OF PROCESSING FEE:
- Visit website https://tspolycet.nic.in and click on the link “PAYMENT OF PROCESSING FEE” Register by entering
- ICR Number given on TSPOLYCET-2023 Hall Ticket.
- Date of Birth as mentioned in the SSC Marks Memo.
- SSC Hall Ticket Number.
- The Basic Information Form is displayed and fill in the details regarding Aadhar, Mobile Number and Email Address. Also fill the details of Caste Certificate and Income Certificate application Number issued by MeeSeva, if applicable. Change of mobile number is not permitted.
- Update the information and pay the Processing Fee of Rs. 300/- (for SC/ST) and Rs. 600/- (for others) through online payment (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking)/T- Wallet.

TS Polycet Counselling 2023 Procedure
The counselling will consist of the following steps:
Step 1: Document Verification:
Candidates should verify their documents at any of the designated Help Line Centers (HLCs) in a given schedule. It is compulsory to attend the certificate verification process for the candidates. Because, during this process, candidates aadhaar card details (Finger Print Biometric) will be verified with UIDAI at Help Line Centers. After verification, candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centres.
Step 2: Exercising Options:
Candidates have to fill choices of courses & colleges at the time of exercising options. It will be started after the certificate verification procedure. List of polytechnics with courses offered by them & course codes will be given in the official website. Candidates can list out polytechnics in order of their preference based on course code & polytechnic codes. Candidates should first prepare a priority number with a list of courses in the blank option form. After that candidates can fill the options on the web. Candidates have to take a print out copy of filled choices for future purpose.
Step 3: Allotments of Seats:
The seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of filled options, merit rank & category. The allotment will be published on the website through online mode. Candidates have to download their allotment order for admission process. Candidates can download allotment order by entering ROC Form Number, Hall Ticket Number, Password & Date of Birth via candidate login.
Step 4: Payment of Fees & Reporting at Polytechnic:
Candidates have to visit at any one of the designated banks with a downloaded allotment order for fee payment. After that candidates have to report at the allotted polytechnic with allotment order & fee receipts on or before the specified dates. If candidates fail to report at the allotted college for admission in a given time period, the seat will be allotted to the next candidates. In this case, candidate’s admission will be cancelled & candidates will not claim for further seat allotment.
Documents Required during Verification/Admission
Candidates should bring the given documents at the time of document verification & admission process. Candidates should carry all original certificates along with 2 sets of Xerox copies:
- SSC or its equivalent Marksheet
- IV to X Study Certificates
- TS Polycet Rank Card 2023
- TS Polycet Hal Ticket 2023
- Aadhaar Card
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Income Certificate (Issued after 1st January 2023 by competent authority, if applicable)
- Caste Certificate (Issued by competent authority, if applicable)
- PH/NCC/Sports/Minority Certificate (If applicable)
- Residence Certificate
Instructions:
1) According to the ranks obtained by the candidates, their counselling will be scheduled.
2) Counselling Authority will mention a specified counselling fee to pay before counselling procedure.
3) Candidates have to pay the specified fee and go through the verification of original certificates.
4) When the verification is done, candidates can select their desired colleges through online web options entry.
5) Allotment of the seats will be based on the choices selected by candidates and availability of seats in colleges.
6) Allotment order will be made available in online.
7) Candidates must go to allotted college with their certificates and pay prescribed tuition fees before due date to complete their admission process.
