It is compulsory for OC candidates, whereas for

3 Whether Post Graduate candidates are

eligible for the post of SA(Languages)

Yes, as per amendment all PG candidates in the

concerned subject are eligible for the post of

SA(Languages) and Language Pandits

4 Whether B.Tech candidates are eligible

or not

All B.Tech candidates are eligible with B.Ed

qualification and amendment will be issued shortly.

5 If there is any qualifying marks fixed for sports quota candidates In the roster 48 & 98 points were allotted for sports persons. However, he/she must acquire

minimum qualifying marks as earmarked for his/her community for example: for OC-60%, BC-50%, SC/ST-40% (TET cum TRT)

7 What is the age criteria fixed for

recruitment

No person shall be eligible for direct

recruitment to the post of Teacher if he/she is less than 18 years of age and not more than

44 years of age as on 1st day of July of the

year 2018 in which the notification for selection to the relevant post, category or class or a service is made.

However, in case of SC / ST / BC candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 54 years.

Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed

Forces and also three years from his age for the

purpose of the maximum age limit.

8 What is the fee structure and how to pay Candidates have to pay for the fee of Rs.500 for each application and the payment of fee through

11 Candidate passed B.A. examination

from Open university without school study. Is he/she eligible for DSC-2018

Yes, provided he must pass B.Ed with concerned

methodology subject studied at B.A level

12 Whether the question paper will be in

Telugu or English medium for

Principal, PGT & TGT posts

Question paper will be only in English medium,

amendment letter will be issued.

13 What is minimum qualifying marks for

screening test (English proficiency Test for the post of Principal, PGT & TGT)

OC/BC=60 marks compulsory

SC/ST/PH & Ex-servicemen=50 marks

14 Candidates passed TET examination

from Telangana State are eligible for

DSC-2018 or not

Not eligible. AP State means only 13 Districts, if

a candidate belongs Local to a particular District and desires to write examination in anotherDistrict of AP State will be considered as a Non- Local.

15 Candidates who were appeared and qualified in APTET-2011 are eligible for DSC-2018 or not Not eligible. The APTET examination was conducted on 31.07.2011. As per the NCTE norms the validity of the seven years for APTET certificate was completed as on 30.07.2018. Hence, the certificate of APTET-2011 is not valid for applying of DSC 
16 Whether the candidates has to submit

Xerox application form and other certificates in DEOs office or not

Not necessary.
17 For whom G.O.Ms.No.133 is applicable It is applicable to the candidates those who were

migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation. G.O. copy available in http://cse.ap.gov.in website.

18 Define Local Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Area, Non-Scheduled Area

etc.,

1. Local Scheduled Tribe candidate means, the candidate belongs to the Scheduled

Tribes notified as such under article 342 of the Constitution of India and the candidates themselves or their parents have been continuously residing in the Scheduled area of the Districts in the which they are residents till to date since the 26th January, 1950.

2. The ST candidates belonging to non-

scheduled area who studied continuously

4 years in Scheduled area cannot be treated as Local ST candidate of that Scheduled area.

3. The ST candidates of Scheduled area, who

studied outside Scheduled area can be still treated as Local ST candidates if his parents/fore parents have been continuously residing in the Scheduled area of that district.

4. Local ST candidate of Scheduled area of one district cannot become local ST of Scheduled area of another district.

19 PHC Candidates of VH and HI are

eligible or not? for claiming the local status of their parents residing districts, though the candidates are studied where Special Schools are located.

As per G.O.Ms.No.104.GAD,(SPFA)

Dept.dt.24.03.2000, the candidates those who are studies in where Special Schools are located, are eligible for claiming the local status of their parents residing districts.
