APPSC  Gazetted  Posts Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
01. a) Assistant B.C. Welfare Officer in A.P. B.C. Welfare Service
b) Assistant Social Welfare Officer in A.P. Social Welfare Service
c) Assistant Tribal Welfare Officer in A.P. Tribal Welfare Service
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established or Incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or a Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.

02. Civil Assistant Surgeons in A.P Insurance Medical Service
(i) Must Possess a M.B.B.S. Degree or an equivalent qualification as entered in the schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 as subsequently amended.
(ii) Must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner within the meaning of the Law for the time being existing in the State.
03. Zilla Sainik Welfare Officers in Sainik Welfare Service
a) Shall be exclusively filled by ExServicemen from the Army, Navy
and Air Force. No Ex- Servicemen who retired below the rank of Captain or equivalent Rank in the Army, Navy or Air Force shall be eligible.
b) Must possess the minimum general educational qualification prescribed in the Schedule to the general rules or equivalent qualification of Indian Army, Navy or Air-Force.
NB:-Discharge certificates from the Army/Navy/ Air Force as the case may be, should be furnished at the appropriate time.
He/She must be able to speak, read & write in Telugu, English, Hindi.
04. Assistant Director in Andhra Pradesh Town & Country Planning Service
Must possess of minimum qualification of B.E (Civil) or B. Planning / B.Tech (Planning) or B.Arch or MA (Geography) and must possess a post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Town and Country Planning from University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act , State Act or Provincial Act, or Institution or Fellowship or Associate ship of the Institute of Town Planners of India or equivalent membership of Professional Institute of Planner recognized by the University Grants Commission, (as per the provisions made under G.O.Ms.No.197 MA dt. 25/03/1992 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.266, MA&UD(B2) Dept. dt.10/07/2012).
05. Assistant Chemist in A.P. Ground Water Service
Must hold M.Sc Degree in Chemistry or applied Chemistry or a Degree in Chemical Engineering, ChemicalTechnology from a University or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent Qualification.
06. Town Planning Assistant in A.P. Town & Country Planning Service
Must possess a minimum qualification of B.Arch, or B.E/ B. Tech (civil) or B Planning/ B. Tech (Planning) (or) passing an Associate ship examination of Institution of Town Planners (India).
07. Royalty Inspector in A.P. Mining Service
Must possess B.Sc., Degree in Geology from any recognised University of India established or incorporated by or under a Central or a State sector an Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission. Provided that candidate having practical Experience for a period of not less than two years in the investigation of mineral deposits and Geological mapping or mining or underground water resources to be given preference.
08. Technical Assistant (Automobile Engineering) in A.P Police Transport Organisation
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Automobile engineering or Mechanical engineering with automobile engineering as one of the subjects of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.
ii) Must possess practical experience of not less than two years in R.T.C workshop or defence motor transport workshop or in any workshop of a motor transport manufacturing concern or a reputed work shop handling repairs and maintenance of motor vehicle or in any State Government workshop handling  repairs and maintenance of motor vehicles.
iii) Must have ability to read and write one of the three languages namely Telugu, Hindi and English.
Physical measurements
a) must not be less than 167.6 cm in height
b) must not be less than 86.3 cm round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cm
Provided that in case of candidates belonging to Schedule Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes where the reserved quota cannot be fully utilized for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite physical standards the physical standards shall be as specified below.
1. Must not less than 164 cm in height and must not less than 83.80 cm round the chest on full inspiration with minimum expansion of 5 cm.
2. Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses
(i) Right eye: Distance vision 6/6
Near vision : 0.5
Left eye: 6/6 snellen o.5 (snellen)
(ii) Each eye must have a full field of vision
(iii) Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye, knock- knees and pigeon chest flat foot, varicose veins, hammer toes, fractured limbs and decayed teeth shall be deemed to be disqualification.

Age Limit:
No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he / she is more than 42 years of age as on 01/07/2019 as per G.O.Ms.No.132,GA (Ser-A) Dept., dated:15.10.2018.   Age Relaxation is applicable to the categories as per the Govt Norms

Application Fee and Exam Fee:
Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) towards application processing fee and Rs 120/- (Rupees one hundred twenty only) towards examination fee.

How to Apply:
Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s Website viz., https://psc.ap.gov.in. Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a user ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR user ID through Commission’s website.

All desirous and eligible candidates shall apply online after satisfying themselves that they are eligible as per the terms and conditions of this recruitment notification. Any application sent through any mode other than the prescribed online mode will not be entertained under any circumstances. Submission of application form by the candidate is authentication that he / she has read the notification and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down there under.

Screening Test: The Commission conducts Screening Test in offline mode in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number and Main Examination in online mode for candidates selected in screening test. If the screening test is to be held, the date of screening test will be communicated through Commission’s Website.

Main Exam: The Main Examination is likely to be held online through computer based test on 03/04/2019 & 04/04/2019. There would be objective type questions which are to be answered on computer system. Instructions regarding computer based recruitment test are attached as Annexure – III. In case any paper of the Examination is held in different languages, the candidate has to choose the medium in which he/she wants to write the examination and the paper will be valued with reference to that medium only.

Mock Test: A general Mock Test facility is available to the applicants to acquaint themselves with the computer based recruitment test. Applicant can visit the website and practice the answering pattern under MOCK TEST option available on main page of website https://psc.ap.gov.in.

Hall tickets: HALL TICKETS can be downloaded whenever the Commission uploads them to its website. Intimation would be given through the website regarding downloading of Hall Tickets.

The applicant is required to visit the Commission’s website regularly to keep himself / herself updated until completion of the recruitment process. The Commission’s website information is final for all correspondence. No individual correspondence by any means will be entertained under any circumstances.
