UPSC IFS Exam – Indian Forest Service Exam 2019 Application, Eligibility. UPSC IFS Examination 2019 notification/UPSC  Indian Forest Service Exam 2019:  Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for conducting of Indian Forest Service Exam 2019. Indian Forest Service Exam 2019 : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Indian Forest Service Examination-2019 Notification . Various posts in Forest Services will be replaced. Candidates who have completed their degree in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for these posts. Candidates will have to pay Rs 100/- as fees and apply online from February 19 to March 18. Through  Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Candidates are selected by candidates for interview .Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the recruitment of Indian Forest Service Exam 2019 vacancies. దీనిద్వారా ఫారెస్ట్ సర్వీసెస్‌లోని వివిధ పోస్టులను భర్తీచేయనున్నారు. సంబంధిత విభాగాల్లో డిగ్రీ పూర్తిచేసిన అభ్యర్థులు ఈ పోస్టులకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవడానికి అర్హులు. దీనిద్వారా కేంద్ర అటవీ, పర్యావరణ విభాగంలోని అధికారి పోస్టులను భర్తీ చేస్తారు. అభ్యర్థులు దరఖాస్తు ఫీజుగా రూ.100 చెల్లించి ఫిబ్రవరి 19 నుంచి మార్చి 18 వరకు ఆన్‌లైన్ ద్వారా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ప్రిలిమినరీ పరీక్ష, మెయిన్ పరీక్ష, ఇంటర్వ్యూ ద్వారా అభ్యర్థులను ఉద్యోగాలకు ఎంపికచేస్తారు.

UPSC IFS Notification: Indian Forest Service Examination -2019 Details:
Candidates who have completed their degree in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for these posts. they will have to attempt the preliminary examination and if they qualify, they’ll have to write the main examination followed by an interview round. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the preliminary examination followed by the main examination and an interview. The Indian Forset Service Exam is conducted by the UPSC to select candidates to fill administrative positions. A candidate is allowed six attempts for the civil services examination.

Eligibility Qualification: 
Bachelors Degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Geology/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Zoology or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Engineering.

Age Limit: 
Between 21 – 32 years as on 01.08.2019.

How to Apply Online
Candidates are required to apply Online only by using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in.
Brief instructions are for filling up the online Applications Form have been given in Appendix-IIA. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website.

Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/ Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.
The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online
application form. The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose details
have been provided in the online application by him/her. This Photo ID Card will be used for all
future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for
Examination/ Personality Test.

The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available in the UPSC website
[http://www.upsconline.nic.in.] for downloading by candidates.

No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid active E-Mail I.D. while filling up OnlineApplication Form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them at different stages of examination process.

Application Fee: Rs.100.

Selection Process:
Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Based on Interview. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination is also considered standard. The main test is conducted separately. Subsequently the interviews are conducted and selected.

Scheme and subjects for the Preliminary and Main Examination.
A. PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION:
The Examination shall comprise of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each.
Note:
(i) Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions).
(ii) The General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
(iii) The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English.
B. MAIN EXAMINATION:
(A) The written examination consisting of the following papers:
Paper I: General English (300 Marks)
Paper II: General Knowledge (300 Marks)
Papers III, IV, V and VI: Any two subjects to be selected from the list of the optional subjects.
Each subject will have two papers. (200 marks for each paper)
Note: Answer scripts of only those candidates who have obtained the minimum marks as decided by the Commission for Paper II (General Knowledge) will be evaluated.
(B) Interview for Personality Test (See Part C of Section II of this Appendix) of such candidates as may be called by the Commission. (Maximum Marks: 300)
