English Language Proficiency Course Admissions 2020 by DSE Telangana to SGTs apply at  scert.telangana.gov.in  English Language Proficiency Course Admissions 2020 by DSE Telangana to SGTs: 
Department of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad has given the English Language Proficiency Course Admissions 2020 notification on March 3 and Online applications are invited from the eligible and interested Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) who working in Telangana Govt Schools.
State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Telangana in collaboration with Azim Premji University (APU) is introducing a nine-week certificate course “English Language Proficiency course” in a blended mode (I.e., Face to Face and Online) in order to enhance the English language proficiency among secondary grade teachers working in Government Primary Schools.

The interested Government Secondary Grade Teachers may visit the official web site of TS SCERT: https://scert.telangana.gov.in and submit their application from 05-03-2020 onwards. Only one teacher from each primary school will be considered. Further, the first 1000 applications received will be admitted into the present batch.

  1. First, visit the SCERT Telangana Official Website.
  2. Search for the link of English Language Proficiency Course Admissions Link.
  3. English Language Proficiency Course Admissions Web Portal will open.
  4. In this web portal, click on the ELP Course Online Application Form and it will open.
  5. In this ELP Course Online Application Form, fill the details in the required fields.
  6. Submit the Online application form and download it.
  7. Take a print and preserve it future need

Press Release for English Language Proficiency Course. 

The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Telangana, in collaboration with Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, invite applications from elementary teachers of Telangana for ‘English Language Proficiency Certificate Course’. The course is offered in a blended mode. The duration of the course is 9 weeks with two face-to-face sessions during the course and seven weeks’ online tasks. The online tasks require approximately 4 hrs. per week. 
The course aims at: – Developing confidence in using English for day-to-day conversation both inside and outside the classroom. – Demonstrating a path to learning English – It is expected that teachers will continue to learn English beyond these 9 weeks. A certificate of participation will be awarded to participants who complete all the online tasks within the stipulated time and have full attendance in the face-to-face sessions.

To ensure smooth functioning of schools, only one teacher per school will be selected on first come first served basis. Other teachers will get the same opportunity in the next round.
