Hall Ticket For EMRS Admissions in Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society(Gurukulam) Amaravathi – 2023-24 Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society Amravati issued a Common Entrance Test  notification for Admission into 6th class for (28) Ekalavya Model Residential Schools for the year 2023-24 and applications are invited from Boys & Girls for admissions into 6th Class in English Medium with integrated coaching for the Academic Year 2023-24 in CBSE pattern in the institutions functioning under Gurukulam.  All the students (Boys & Girls) who are studying 5th class in the Academic year 2022-23 in TW Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt. and Private Recognized schools are eligible to write the entrance test for admission into 6th Class. The main objective of EMRS is to enable ST Students to have access to best opportunities in education on par with non ST population. Admission into 6th Class For (28) Ekalavya Model Residential Schools and 7th,8th, 9th Class Backlog Vacancies for the Year 2023-24

The Gurukulam, APTWREI Society , Tadepalli is running (28) Ekalavya Model Residential Schools across the state of Andhra Pradesh for the Academic 2023-23. Now, the Gurukulam has decided to take up state level admissions from class 6th and backlog vacancies for 7th ,8th and 9th classes into (28) EMR Schools through written test on merit basis.  Ekalavya Modal Residential Schools are eatablished for ST Students to provide a necessary academic environment and inputs and also providing specialized coaching to meritorious ST students to enable them to pursue higher studies. EMRS have been one of the fagship interventions of Ministry of Tribal afairs to provide quality middle and high level education to Schedule tribe students in remote areas on par with Navodaya Vidyalayas and will have special facilities for preserving local art and culture besides providing training in sports and skill development.

The main objective of EMRS is to enable ST Students to have access to best opportunities in education on par with non ST population. This would be achieved by providing comprehensive physical, mental and socially relevant development of all students enrolled in every EMRS.

Selection Proccedure: 

Admission to EMRS shall be done on the basis of Selection Test. Admission to class VI shall be made strictly on the basis of an entrance test called Eklavya Model Residential Schools Selection Test (EMRSST). The candidates desirous to get admission in EMRSs have to appear and qualify EMRSST.

 APTWREIS, Tadepalli – Acad – Admissions into entry point Class i.e.,6th in all EMR Schools and backlog vacancies (if any) in Classes 7th,, & 8th and 9th for the Academic Year 2023-23 – Conduct of written test – Certain Guidelines communicated.

At present (28) Ekalavya Model Residential Schools are functioning across the state of Andhra Pradesh under the control of Gurukulam. Now, the Gurukulam has decided to take up state level admissions from class 6th and backlog vacancies for 7th ,8th and 9th classes into (28) EMR Schools through written test on merit basis. Based on the reference 1st cited, Gurukulam has issued operational guidelines for effective functioning of EMR Schools vide ref.2nd cited which includes reservation pattern and allocation of seats in EMR Schools entry point classes. Vide ref.3rd and 4th cited, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GoI, New Delhi have communicated the draft admission guidelines for the year 2023-24. Based on the draft admission guidelines, the following is the reservation criteria should be maintained in all EMR Schools across the Country.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission Eligibility: A candidate appearing for the selection test for admission in Class VI for the session 2023-24 should be studying or has studied in Class-V in the academic session 2022-23 or 2021-22 in a Government / Govt. Aided / State Recognized Schools / Level B of NIOS OBE Programme / CBSE affiliated schools of the state where he/she is seeking admission (in EMRSs). A School will be deemed recognized if it is declared so by the Govt. or by any other agency authorized on behalf of Govt., (or) A candidate who has not attended any school but studied at home is also eligible to apply for admission in Class VI (As per section 4 of Chapter-II of RTE Act 2009). However, the parents / guardian of the candidate shall have to submit a self declaration regarding the same.

All the students (Boys & Girls) who have studied 5th class in the Academic year 2022-23 in TW Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt. and Private Recognized schools are eligible for admission into 6th Class through admission test . Students who have studied 6th class in the Academic year 2022-23 are eligible for 7th Class and the students who have studied 7th class in the Academic year 2022-23 are eligible for 8th Class admission, the students who have studied 8th class in the Academic year 2022-23 are eligible for 9th Class admission.

Age Limit: 

The minimum and maximum age limit (as on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought) for admission in Ekalavya Model Residential Schools in various classes is given below: (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.)

Medium:. Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible for admissio Test.

Income Limit. Parental Income should not exceed Rs1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) per annum. (Need not produce income certificate in case of white ration card holders as per GO.MS No: 229 Dated 23-06-2017).

Submission of application form:

All the eligible students shall submit the filled applications through online aptwgurukulam.ap.gov.in. or approach the nearby Gurukulam institutions with all details to fill the application and handover it to the principal. The Principals in turn shall upload the application through online.

Requirted documents.: Selected candidates have to produce necessary certifcates like, Caste, Income, Ration card SSID No, the Aadhar card. Marks Memo, Study, Record sheet / T.C, Physical ftness certifcates, 06 Passport size photos, etc., at the time of admissions.
