It is decided to fill up nearly 10,961 teacher posts in the year i.e., in 2017. TS Government has decided to announce the DSC /Teachers Recruitment Test(TRT) Notification in the month of March/April, 2017.Its's a first Teacher Recruitment Notification Telangana State after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. It's Good opportunity to unemployeed B.Ed.,D.Ed.,TTC... trained candidates.Telangana State School Education Department(C&DSE) has Recognised Requirement of Subject Teachers in High schools in Telangana State. So, it's Necessary to fillup all the vacancies in all types of schools in 10 Districts of all management schools. Hence the  Telangana State Public Service Commission is ready to give TS DSC 2017/Teacher Recruitment Test(TRT) 2017 Notification in the month of March or April 2017. 

TSPSC Teacher Posts Recruitment  2017:
The Govt is going to fill up the BC-Tribal-Social Welfare Teaching Non Teaching Posts and TS Model Schools Principal, PGT, TGT Posts. The recruitment of teachers in the government schools is likely to be carried out through Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). Accordingly, the government is making all moves to hand over the teachers’ recruitment from Directorate of School Education to TSPSC.  Presently, the Directorate of School Education holds DSC(District Selection Committee) for the Teachers Recruitment in TS govt schools by following its own rules and norms. The TSPSC is all set to follow the same for filling the teacher posts. Teaching and Non Teaching Posts vacancies in the following Departments like Education Department Schools, Tribal Welfare, Education Department Social Welfare, BC Welfare Residential Schools and Colleges, DIET Colleges, B.Ed Colleges and Model Schools Principals, PGTs, TGTs.

TS Teacher Recruitment Test(TRT) 2017 Examination & Recruitment will conducted through the TSPSC( Telangana State Public Service Commission)

Posts of Recruitment& Managements:
TSPSC  /Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) 2017 Examination to be conducted for recruitment to the following posts.
(i)School Assistants(S.A)in Telugu,Hindi,English,Maths,Bio sciences,Physical Sciences,Social Studies...etc.,
(ii)Secondary Grade Teachers(S.G.T),
(iii)Language Pandits(L.P.T)(Telugu/Hindi),
(iv)Physical Education Teachers (P.E.T) all managenets like Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad Schools andTribal Welfare Schools and Muncipalities in 31 Districts of Telangana State through TSPSC.

Separate Exams for TET & TRT:
Telangana State government(Director of School Education,TS,Hyd) has decided to conduct Examinations for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) 2017 through TSPSC separately.

NCTE Norms:

Govt. of India have enacted RTE Act,2009 titled “The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education”. In accordance with National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE),New Delhi has laid down minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a Teacher in a category for Classes I to VIII .The minimum qualifications include a Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Pursuant to the said Guidelines, it has been decided to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)for all persons, who aspire to become Teachers for Classes 1st to 8th in all Schools (Govt. / ZP / MP / Municipal /Recognised Pvt.Aided & Pvt.Un-Aided etc.,).
Hence,The norms prepared by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) would not allow to conduct a common examination for recruitment of teachers and conducting a common examination was against norms of NCTE and may lead to legal tangles hampering the recruitment process of the teachers. The TET was an eligibility criteria for DSC and DSC was a screening test for teacher recruitment.

Weightage of TET Marks to DSC/TRT:
As conducted in Earlier DSC,The government has decided that 20 percent weightage would be given TET for calculating final score in the DSC examination.

Method of Recruitment:
The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Written Test.The applicants should write Exam in that district in which the wants to seeks recruitment. It will be purely based on merit cum roaster system as per the existing provisions being adopted by Government of Telangana.

Qualifications And Eligibility:

(1) A candidate for selection to the posts of Teachers shall possess the academic and professional/ training qualifications as follows:
(a)Must be fully qualified for the post applied for and in possession of all Certificates as on the last date prescribed in the notification for submission of applications.
(b) (i) Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, or other equivalent certificates recognized by Board of Intermediate Education.
(ii) Must possess Academic degrees of Universities recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
(iii) Teacher Education Courses recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.
(iv) Distance Mode courses offered by Universities and Deemed Universities recognized by Joint Committee comprising University Grants Commission, Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education and with jurisdiction to operate such courses in the State.
(v) Special Education Courses recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India.

Age Limit:
As per G.O.Ms.No.329,Date:27.07.2015 Upper Age Limit Raised to 10 Years for TSPSC and Other Recruiting Agencies. Hence,The DSC/TRT applicants must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have completed the maximum age of 44(34+10) years as on 1st July. However, in case of BC / SC /ST the maximum age limit is may be 49 years.

How to Apply:
As per a messsage from Govt, The TSPSC (DSC 2017) /Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) 2017 Applicants have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- towards application processing and Teachers Recruitment Test for each post through TS/APOnline or Mee-Seva centers.
